When sending out a quote request the devil is in the details.  Sometimes you have customers that call you, and ask for a quote, but they say…. “you decide” or…. “what do you think will look best” but if I make the decisions for you, and the job is printed, and you don’t like it, who is at fault?

These are some of the important details you want to give when asking for a print quote

  1. what is the size?
  2. what is the stock?
  3. is it more than one page?
  4. does it have to be folded?
  5. does it have to be stapled?
  6. how many colour are you printing?  CMYK or PMS?

all of these are valid questions. If you don’t know the answers work with your printer to figure it out together to make sure you get what you want.
