Are you getting married this summer, or having a child’s Bar Mitzvah, and the fancy invitations have cost you a boat load?

Yet you still know once the gifts come in you are going to have to send out all of these thank you cards, to show appreciation to your guests?

Thank you cards can be expensive if you put them on the same stock and have the same person make them as who made your invites, but it is also possible to save money in this respect. If you are hand writing them a linen may not be the best way to go, because your handwriting may not be so neat with a pen on that type of textured paper, however you could use a mail merge to have personalized thank you cards printed from the press for you, if the linen is the look that you are going for.

If you want to have hand written cards, you can go with a nice light coloured paper, that matches the colours of your original invitations, and you can customize each thank you card just the way you want. But the card isn’t the only thing you have to take into consideration. I assume you are mailing them to? Don’t forget to order your matching envelopes that are printed with the address and return address for you, so all you need to do is put the stamp on the envelope and stuff them yourself once you have written them.
